Tuscan Chat Client

Welcome to Tuscan Chat!

This page provides information, downloads, and support for Tuscan Chat!  Please feel free to look around, but don't break anything.

What is Tuscan Chat?  Well, it's a Chat Client, for Internet Relay Chat (IRC) servers.  Something similar to mIRC, but with more options similar to MSN Chat.

Tuscan Chat is hopefully going to be combination of the rich text messaging format used on MSN Chat, with much of the support that mIRC has.  Atleast, that's what the author is hoping for.  Tuscan Chat is developed with a unique programming language known as Euphoria.  This language is a C/BASIC Hybrid interpeted language.  It has the power of C/C++, with the syntax, and ease of BASIC style.  It is quite powerful, and anyone that is intrested in programming, should check it out.

Currently, the website, and Tuscan Chat is under development, and there will be many changes to both, as both evolve.  Please check back for updates often, and hopefully, a release will be officially available via the download page.

!!NEWS!!  Dec. 18, 2003 by Mario Steele

Okay, I know, people have been asking, what's going on. I'm sorry for the lateness in posting this, but I've been busy of late, trying to do diffrent things. So what's up with Tuscan Chat? Well, I'm now in league with a C/C++ Programmer, to help build a Engine in which to run Tuscan Chat on. That's right, Tuscan Chat will now sport a C/C++ IRC Communication engine called Nynex. This is now a joint Venture between myself and Raundaun Long AKA Asphyxia. I'm hopefull about this joint venture, and hope to have more updates as they become available. Please stay tuned for further developments.
